Refund Policy
At Yummy's Nummies, we take pride in delivering healthy, lively feeder insects to keep your reptiles thriving. Because our Premium Nummies are live animals, refunds are limited to protect both you and our critters. We stand behind our products with our Live Arrival Guarantee (see Shipping Policy for details).
Live Arrival Guarantee (Primary Resolution for Issues)
- Our Live Arrival Guarantee covers any Nummies that arrive deceased, damaged, or in poor condition (DOA - Dead On Arrival).
- This guarantee applies only to orders shipped via UPS 2 Day Air (or UPS 2nd Day Air).

Claim Process:
- Contact us within 4 hours of delivery (or first attempted delivery) via email at support@yummysnummies.com.
- Provide your order number, tracking info, and clear photos of:
- The unopened package (showing shipping label).
- The affected insects inside the package.
- We'll review your claim (usually within 24 hours) and, if approved, issue a full replacement of the affected product(s) at no extra cost (shipped via qualifying 2 Day method) or store credit (our discretion).
- No cash refunds are issued for live arrival issues — replacements or credit ensure you get the feeders your reptile needs quickly.
General Refunds & Returns
- Live Feeders (Insects): Due to their perishable/live nature, no refunds or returns are accepted after the 4-hour claim window for live arrival issues. Once the package is opened or accepted, the sale is final — no exceptions for "didn't eat them," "reptile refused," or post-arrival mortality.
- Cancellations: Orders may be canceled before shipment (within 1 business day). Contact us immediately. After processing/shipment, cancellations are not possible.
- Incorrect Address or Refused Delivery: If the package is returned to us due to customer error (wrong address, refusal, unavailable recipient), no refund will be issued. You may be charged reshipping fees for a corrected address.
- Weather/Transit Holds: We monitor temperatures and may delay shipments if unsafe (below 32°F or above 90°F forecast). No refunds for delays due to carrier issues or extreme weather.
Important Notes
- All claims must include photographic evidence — no exceptions.
- We use best practices for live shipping (insulated boxes, ventilation, moisture gels), but transit is out of our control once with UPS.
- Refunds (when applicable) are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
