At Yummy's Nummies, we're committed to delivering lively, healthy feeder insects straight to your reptile's bowl—because a happy feeder means a happy herp!

Processing & Shipping Times

  • Orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days (Monday–Wednesday preferred; we avoid shipping late in the week to prevent weekend delays).
  • We ship to the Continental United States only 
  • Standard shipping uses UPS Ground (3–7 business days estimated). This is our budget-friendly option, but transit times are estimates only—no live arrival guarantees apply.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We proudly offer a Live Arrival Guarantee on all our Premium Nummies (feeder insects like crickets, dubia roaches, mealworms, and more) to ensure your reptiles get the freshest, most nutritious feeders possible!

Key Restriction: The Live Arrival Guarantee applies only when you select the UPS 2 Day Air (or UPS 2nd Day Air) shipping option at checkout.

  • This faster service gets your order to most areas in 2 business days, reducing risks from heat, cold, or extended transit that could affect insect vitality.
  • UPS Ground or slower methods do not qualify for the guarantee—choose 2 Day Air for peace of mind, especially during extreme weather!

How the Guarantee Works

If any of your Nummies arrive deceased or in poor condition (DOA - Dead On Arrival):

  1. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery (or first attempted delivery) via email at [your support email] with:
    • Clear photos of the unopened package, the shipping label, and the affected insects.
    • Your order number and tracking info.
  2. We'll review quickly (usually same day) and, if eligible, provide a full replacement (or store credit at our discretion—no cash refunds).
  3. Replacements ship at our expense using the qualifying 2 Day method.

Exclusions & Important Notes

  • The guarantee does not cover:
    • Issues from extreme temperatures (we monitor and may hold/delay shipments if unsafe—e.g., below 32°F or above 90°F at origin/destination).
    • Customer refusal of delivery, incorrect address, delays in pickup, or carrier mishandling beyond our control.
    • Insects that perish after arrival (post-delivery care is key—transfer to a proper enclosure quickly!).
  • We use insulated packaging, ventilation, and moisture sources to keep your Nummies comfy in transit.
  • For best results, choose a shipping address where someone can receive the package promptly (especially in hot/cold seasons).
  • We ship Monday–Wednesday to avoid weekend holds.
